The Holy Goalie Artur Boruc fears Poland could suffer in the Ernst-Happel-Stadion when they meet co-hosts Austria in Vienna on Thursday in their second Group B game at UEFA EURO 2008™.
Having lost their respective opening games the partisan atmosphere from the crowd will be intimidating.A defeat for Austria would be a huge embarrassment.

"Austria will play us at home so the stadium atmosphere will be on their side," said the Celtic goalkeeper. "Austria are a good team. They are in a very good condition and physical form, so I've heard, but we'll see how they play on the pitch. Of course, they're not little boys, they are a strong team."

Boruc knows how important this game is to his country after losing to Germany in their opening game
"It is highly important for us to win against Austria. The team that wins this match will stay on in the tournament, but probably not if it's a draw or if you lose," he said. "Maybe it's not an all-or-nothing match, but it's still a very important one. We have to believe we'll get through."

"We lost the first match and we feel like you do after all losses," said the hoops keeper. "It's very nice that a coach from the opposing team says such a positive thing about us. It's a pity he has to say these things after a match we've lost. It would be much better if he said that after one we'd won."

With ex Celtic player and captain of the Polish side, Maciej Żurawski ruled out with a thigh injury,Boruc acknowledges this huge loss to Poland's Euro campaign
"He was our captain, so it's a great loss," said Boruc. "On the other hand, we have 23 players at this tournament so whichever player replaces Maciej will do so with grace."
