Celtic legend Kenny Dalglish and his wife Marina will test how well they really know each other when they take part in the cult TV classic, ‘Mr & Mrs’.

The show returns to ITV1 with an all-star line-up, presented by the daytime TV favourites, Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton.

Each edition will see three celebrity couples compete for big cash prizes, for a charity of their choice, plus the all important classic carriage clock.

The former Celtic and Liverpool FC star and his wife, who live in Birkdale, hope to raise money for their own charity, the Marina Dalglish Appeal, set up in 2004 after Marina battled breast cancer in 2003.

Kenny and Marina will join a host of other celebrity couples including MP Lembit Opik and Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia, Vic Reeves and Nancy Sorrell, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Jackie Llewelyn-Bowen, Phil and Dawn Tufnell, Michael and Susan Howard and Christopher Biggins and Neil Sinclair.
