MORECAMBE have signed the highly-rated Diarmuid O'Carroll from Celtic.
The 20-year-old, who is a product of the Celtic youth academy and been a regular scorer in the Bhoys' Reserve teams for the past couple of seasons, has signed a one-year deal at Christie Park.
Described by late Celtic coach Tommy Burns as a 'natural striker who can score goals', O'Carroll has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at all youth levels.
O'Carroll said it was a big decision to leave Celtic Park but felt the timing was right.
He said: "As a young Irish footballer it was my ambition to play for Celtic and I love the place.
"But I have to think of my career now and look to make my mark.

Maybe he can do us a good
Maybe he can do us a good job now he's dropped down a few levels and is starting a 'grown-up' football career in a first team playing in proper league http://www.thevisitor.co.uk/morecambe-sport
