Continuing the look at Celtic players’ involvement in Euro 2008, we focus on someone who seems set to have a big role to play for his country this summer - Artur Boruc.
Since his international debut in 2004, the Celtic keeper has cemented his place as Poland’s premier keeper with a string of solid displays for both club and country. He has been a revelation since arriving in Scotland in 2005 and has helped Celtic to three SPL titles in a row, becoming a fans’ favourite along the way. Boruc’s impressive performances even meant that highly rated David Marshall was forced out of the club to pursue first team football.
