Ex Bhoy: Van Hooijdonk a “non-white, unclean, non-Protestant with no father”
Crude legendary Rangers goalkeeper, Andy Goram drew huge cheers from Rangers fans yesterday at the opening of his new pub in Blantyre, Lanarkshire when he claimed he called ex-Celtic striker Pierre Van Hooijdonk a “non-white, unclean, non-Protestant with no father” after saving a penalty in a crunch Old Firm match in 1996.
Goram, 44, was speaking at a boozy Q&A session at the opening of his pub with lawyer pal Donald Findlay QC as reported in the Scottish Sun
During his rantings he accused bed-hopping Ibrox No1 Allan McGregor of “giving goalies a bad name”.
Donald Findlay who resigned as Gers vice-chairman in 1999 after he was caught on video singing The Billy Boys — piped up: “The only problem with that, Goram, is that you f***ing did it when you weren’t a single man.”
